April 20, 2015

Foo Fighters released a 10-inch vinyl EP “Songs From The Laundry Room” on Saturday April 18, Record Store Day. Side A features frontman Dave Grohl’s early demos of “Alone + Easy Target” and “Big Me”, while side B contains a cover of Kim Wilde’s “Kids In America” and the previously unheard “Empty Handed”.

The EP was recorded at Laundry Room Studio and produced by Barrett Jones, who co-produced the first Foo Fighters album with Grohl.

Grohl was this year’s Record Store Day Ambassador.

Foo Fighters start a massive North American tour in Washington D.C. on July 4 — the 20th anniversary of the release of the first Foo Fighters album.
