Foo Fighters Cancel Remainder Of European Tour In Wake Of Terror Attacks

November 15, 2015

Foo Fighters canceled the remaining shows on their European tour in the wake of the terrorist attacks that rocked Paris, France Friday night (November 13).

The band has issued the following statement:

“It is with profound sadness and heartfelt concern for everyone in Paris that we have been forced to announce the cancellation of the rest of our tour. In light of this senseless violence, the closing of borders, and international mourning, we can’t continue right now. There is no other way to say it. This is crazy and it sucks. Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone who was hurt or who lost a loved one.”

Foo Figthers were scheduled to perform in Paris tomorrow (Monday, November 16).

At least 80 people were killed at the Bataclan concert hall where Eagles of Death Metal played.

French president Francois Hollande blamed Friday’s attacks on ISIS, calling it “an act of war” by the militants. He said it was planned from the outside — “with inside complicity.”
