DUFF MCKAGAN & KRIST NOVOSELIC Set To Talk Music, Politics, Life At A Special Seattle Event
Duff McKagan (Guns N’ Roses, Velvet Revolver) and Krist Novoselic (Nirvana) will share the stage May 17 at The Neptune in Seattle, Washington, where they will talk music, politics, life and celebrate the release of McKagan’s new memoir, “How To Be A Man (And Other Illusions)”.
“How To Be A Man (And Other Illusions)” recounts some of the lessons he’s learned along the way. McKagan shares the wisdom he gained on the path to superstardom — from his time with G’N’R and Velvet Revolver to getting sober.
As a founding member of Nirvana, Novoselic has seen band life from the inside of a van to one of the biggest bands on the planet. Novoselic is a political activist, student, hobby farmer and musician who has recorded and performed with a number of artists in recent years, including Paul McCartney.
Duff and Krist have known each other for decades, and for several years, were colleagues as columnists at Seattle Weekly.
McKagan will read from “How To Be A Man” and engage in conversation with Novoselic about his life and career. The evening will conclude with a question-and-answer session and a book signing.
