Deadmau5 musical to open in Toronto
A musical inspired by the music of Deadmau5 and the house music scene is set to open in Toronto.
Deadmouse: The Musical will be staged at the Toronto Fringe Festival from July 3 and, according to an official statement, is “a comedy about a mouse who aspires to be a house DJ but is discriminated against for being a mouse. Joel Zimmermouse must team up with his best friend David Goudda and his flame, Cat, to overcome speciest discrimination and the mouse-hating house DJ Avicheese.”
Written by Ralf Malach and directed by Dale Miller, Deadmouse: The Musical runs until July 11 and contains sexual content, mature language and strobe lighting.
