DAVE GROHL, COREY TAYLOR ON DEBUT ALBUM FROM NEW ALL-STAR BAND
Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl and Slipknot singer Corey Taylor are two of the guest artists who are contributing to the debut album from Teenage Time Killer, a new all-star heavy rock outfit spearheaded by members of the legendary punk/metal band Corrosion Of Conformity. The group has signed a deal with Rise Records and will release its debut album, which was recorded at Grohl’s Studio 606, sometime in January.
Other artists who appear on the debut include: Lamb Of God’s Randy Blythe, former Queens Of The Stone Age bassist Nick Oliveri, Clutch’s Neil Fallon, ex-Dead Kennedys singer Jello Biafra, plus current and former members of Fear, Prong, the Misfits, Red Fang, My Ruin and Sacred Reich, among others.
The band’s core lineup consists of Corrosion Of Conformity drummer Reed Mullin and bassist Mike Dean.
Mullin said in a recent interview that the material is “a very good mixture of old hardcore punk, punk and metal stuff . . . People are going to be pleasantly surprised.”
