‘Curb Your Enthusiasm’ ninth season confirmed
Curb Your Enthusiasm is returning in 2017 for a 9th season!
HBO programming Casey Bloys said filming will start in the fall of 2016 and will air at some point next year.
He said: “I think possibly [it will shoot] this fall and will air sometime in ’17. That could slide but he’s [Larry David] definitely gearing up for it. I would imagine, my hope is most of the cast [will return], but we don’t have any of those details worked out yet.”
Bloys said in a press release: “We’re thrilled that Larry [David] has decided to do a new season of Curb and can’t wait to see what he has planned.”
Asked about the possibility of new episodes, David’s co-star Jeff Garlin replied recently: “I’d say [there’s] a decent chance. Not good, not bad, decent.”
Garlin, who plays David’s manager Jeff Greene in the show, went on to describe Curb Your Enthusiasm as “the only show that I know in the history of television that only moves forward because the creator is basing his decision entirely on creativity”. David, he said, is “so rich that he doesn’t have to do anything unless it’s good”.
