‘Cruel Intentions’ to be made into TV series
The classic 1999 teen movie Cruel Intentions is going to be made into a TV series.
The Cruel Intentions series is in the works at NBC, will centre on Bash Casey, the son of the characters played by Ryan Phillippe and Reese Witherspoon in the film.
The story will begin with Bash Casey discovering his late father’s journal and deciding to swap his small-town upbringing in Kansas for a scholarship at Brighton Preparatory Academy, the prestigious San Francisco school where his parents made mischief.
NBC has ordered a script for the Cruel Intentions TV series and will pay a penalty if a pilot episode is never made.
