CREED BASSIST ON SCOTT STAPP: SCOTT IS NOT OKAY AND NEEDS MEDICAL HELP
Earlier this week Brian Marshall, the bassist of Creed posted a short update on his troubled bandmate Scott Stapp, saying that they “talked briefly” and that Scott “seems to be okay.” The post got so much attention that Brian felt the need to post again to clarify that Scott is not okay.
He writes, “Due to the exposure my post has received, I feel I need to clarify what I meant by saying Scott Stapp “seems to be okay”. It is obvious Scott is not “ok” and that he needs medical help and/or an intervention if he does not surrender to this disease before he hurts himself or others. I was trying to inform those who were concerned about his immediate well being, that we were reaching out to him during this difficult time and will continue to do so until the family gets the help they need.”
Earlier this week Scott reportedly started a new crowdsourcing campaign to raise $480,000 so that he can record a new solo album and write his first novel, but the page appears to have been removed.
A quick search of “Scott Stapp” on Fundly produces results for a few parody campaigns raising money to “stop Scott Stapp from creating a new album and writing a novel.”
