CONDOMS IN PORN LAW UPHELD BY APPEALS COURT

A Los Angeles federal appeals court upheld an ordinance requiring actors in pornography to use condoms.

The 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals rejected arguments by the porn industry that the claimed condom use inhibits their right to free-speech.

The ordinance was passed in 2012 with help from the AIDS Healthcare Foundation and other advocates as a means of reducing sexually transmitted diseases.
