Canucks Blown Out In LA

November 9, 2014

No surprise, really. Most everyone you talk to KNEW The Canucks’ road trip to California wouldn’t be an easy one… so far Vancouver has been badly outplayed in both games… with Game 3 of the trip tonight in Anaheim.

Ryan Miller stood tall on Thursday to take down The San Jose Sharks (almost single handedly) … but last night, The LA Kings proved too much for the recently acquired 3yr/18 million dollar netminder. 5-1 was the best The Canucks could do. LA Kings goalie Jonathan Quick was just too good.

There’s much work to be done if the Canucks want to compete in the West. And last night’s game proved that.

Canucks coach Willie Desjardins pulled Miller after 2 periods… and finished the game with Eddie Lack. Desjardins even split up his top line returning Alex Burrows to the Sedin twins for two periods… which did nothing.

Today’s match up with Anaheim won’t be an easy task… but I think the boys’ll bounce back. Calling a 3-2 Vancouver win!
