BUCKCHERRY SAYS NEW ALBUM IS ABOUT HALFWAY DONE
Buckcherry is making progress on its new album, recently revealing to All Access Live that the upcoming set is about halfway done.
Singer Josh Todd said, “We’re finishing up our LP right now — our seventh LP — which will come out this year, first quarter. We’ve got about half of it done, and we’re gonna just tighten it up, and then we’re gonna start touring full-time again, like, end of March.”
Right now, Buckcherry has dates lined up in cities including Abilene, Texas and Orlando, Florida.
About the upcoming tour, Todd said, “We just try to get everywhere we can.”
- The upcoming album follows last year’s EP, F***, which came out on the group’s F-Bomb lablel. Each of the six songs on the disc have the F-word in the title.
- Todd said that the title of the record was inspired by the 1983 movie Scarface, explaining, “I remember for a long time the movie had the most ‘f***s’ of any movie and I thought that was so rad.”
